Terms of service
These terms will set out what the service does, what you may use a number for, what happens when a verification fails, and how either party may end the relationship.
Not yet in force
The service
What is being sold: temporary access to a phone number for the purpose of receiving one-time verification codes. Numbers cannot originate calls or messages and are released after a single use.
Pending: Requires the operating entity and its jurisdiction to be settled before it can name a counterparty.
Acceptable use
Numbers may be used to verify an account you are entitled to create or access. Circumventing another service’s security controls, impersonation, and any use prohibited by applicable law are out of scope.
Pending: Requires legal review of enforceability and of the notice-and-suspension process in each market served.
Payment, balance and refunds
Balance is funded in advance and denominated in US dollars. An order reserves an amount; the reservation becomes a charge only on delivery. Undelivered orders are refunded to balance automatically.
Pending: Refund-to-balance as the default (ADR-0009) and the absence of withdrawals (ADR-0018) together form a closed-loop credit system. That structure REQUIRES LEGAL VERIFICATION before launch.
Availability and no guarantee of delivery
Availability is reported as a band and is a statement about recent observation, not a commitment. A message that never arrives is refunded, and that refund is the remedy.
Pending: Requires review against consumer-protection rules in each market served.
Suspension and termination
Grounds for suspending an account, the notice given, and what happens to a remaining balance on closure.
Pending: Requires a decision on the route to a source refund for unused balance on account closure.
Liability and governing law
The limits of liability and the law and forum under which disputes are resolved.
Pending: Cannot be drafted before the operating entity and jurisdiction are settled.
